About Me
I'm a software engineer and builder with experience across corporate engineering teams, startups, and hackathons. I've worked in professional environments building security/compliance systems and production software used at scale, while also pursuing independent projects end-to-end.
Outside of work, I've won 8 hackathons and launched 5 apps on the App Store, focusing on turning ideas into reliable, real-world products. One of my apps on the App Store has grown to 80,000+ users. I enjoy combining strong engineering fundamentals with fast execution and product thinking.
Some fun facts about me are that I grew up in Japan and that I play soccer and tennis.

Chrome extension for authomatic compression of image uploads to LLMs for token savings. Utilized Fourier transforms for image compression and conducted research on CNN classifiers (as a proxy for LLMs) to determine the ideal compression rate.

Used the YOLOv8 pose estimation model to process soccer footage. Trained a random forest classifier on extracted features to seperate footage of dives from fouls, reaching 91% accuracy. Leveraged a RAG-based LLM to provide referee-like feedback.
